About Me

I got my start in the Emergency Services in August of 1998. I was a senior in high school. I did a 2 hour a day work study, with Halstead EMS. Then in March of 1999, I turned 18 and was put on the Fire Department. I was able to gain alot of experience from my time there. In September of 2004, I started with Mulvane Emergency Services as a full time Firefighter / EMT Duty Officer. In April of 2005 I accepted a position with Via-Christi Air-Ground Critical Care Transport. I have also started working for Burrton Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Department, December 2006 I was appointed to Burrton City Council. I have also worked part time for LifeTeam and Moundridge EMS, and in July of 2010 I transfered From Critical Care Transport to St Teresa to be an EMT in the ER, and currently work there full time.  December 2010 I was appointed Fire Chief of Bentley Fire Department, meeting my goal of becoming a Fire Chief by the time I was 30 by 3 months.  It has been a great new venture and I have a great crew to work with there.

 I am a single dad of 2 great kids Mackenzie (9) and Taylor (8). Mackenzie is in 3st grade and is doing very well, She loves to Sing and Dance, and read. Taylor is in 2st grade, He is as onry as ever. He is also doing very well in school. You never know whats going to come out of his mouth !  They are alot of fun. 

 I collect all things Fire/EMS/Police, I also collect Autographed pictures. I have around 400 at this time.  I trade patches if you are wanting to trade.
